Gesture Drawing

This is my friend playing guitar. I had trouble with getting the correct shape of the guitar. I realized that two guitar picks put together made the shape of a guitar.

Being able to break down the complicated shape of a guitar into two simpler shapes helped the drawing come together more quickly.
